A little confused about Superhero??

I'm a bit confused about what the difference is between Superhero and vegan. I know that may sound crazyy and I have read the book and maybe I'm missing something but I just am not sure what else I need to cut out to be superhero. Fruit? The only bread I do is Ezekiel and I mostly do rice, barley, lentils, soybeans.
I think one of the biggest things to cut out is the nightshade vegetables -tomatoes, peppers, eggplants. Limited fruit (focus on veg. instead) and no processed food.
No processed foods, not even much tofu, soy milk and such. Little fruit, and nightshades. White flour, sugar. Seems a lot more restrictive and keep thinking I want to but so many of those replacement ingrediants are pricey and I just don't know if I can afford to do it!
from what I gather you stick to whole grains, veggies and proteins on 'superhero.' You stay away from anything processed/packaged, sugar and flour. There aren't really replacement ingredients... you actually use fewer ingredients because the recipes are simpler.
yes...and give it a read again...it helps me to reread stuff over and over...and there is a little recap at end of superhero.
What's the matter with fruit?
thank u all. i will def reread the chapter again and I think fruit is where I'm messing up and processed stuff like the tempeh and soymilk and tofu and soycheese.
fruit is fine.. it's just very high in sugar.. albeit natural sugar.
it's not off-limits, but you should try to focus on eating more vegetables than fruits. limit fruit to 1 or 2 servings a day. it makes a nice dessert!
