My absolute FAVORITEST restauraunt out here in southern Cali is called Native Foods. There are about 6 locations from Westwood, to Orange County. Everything is vegan friendly and RIDUNKULOUSLY tasty!

Recommendations:
Chickn Run Ranch Burgur with Sweet Potato Fries
Native Fries
Native Tea (sweetened with Agave)
"Save the chickn" wings - the most amazing thing on the menu!
Magarita Pizza (with vegan cheese, pesto, tomatoes and basil)
Cupcakes. They are REALLY dense and I dont want to know how many calories are in those things but SOOOOO yummy!!!

I have also tried The Loving Hut in OC (wasnt a huge fan of the overgreasy food and the over religious tone) and the Vegan Hut in Studio City, CA. Again, food had that vegatable oil aftertaste that lasted for DAYS.

Chipotle Mexican Restauraunt is also another wonderful option. While they do serve meat, their veggie burrito bowls are to DIE for. Everything at Chipotle is organic and all natural. They are large supporters of the "FOOD INC." movie and follow the practices that are talked about in the film. They are the largest chain that I know of that carries these organic type foods and is nation wide. Make sure to get the black beans and not the pinto as the pinto is usually made with lard. The lime and cilantro rice is amazing and so are the lime and salt chips with the handmade guacamole.

.... mouth ... watering .....
