My bad. I ate the turkey and everything else this week. Who else will confess to this?

I have been excercising and eating healthy for a few years now. I decided to eat more healthily by going Vegan a few months ago. I messed up this week. Not only did I eat meat but I ate everything else. In fact, I was an eating machine!. Damn. I bet I gained 5 lbs this week. I need to go back on the plan starting tomorrow and hit the gym.
ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE DO THE SAME?
I decided to go vegan exactly 1 week before Thanksgiving. I did great. Until the big day. But I decided the day before it was going to be my farewell to nasty food day. I decided to eat the meat and everything else one last time to say good bye. I did make vegan stuffing (used veggie stock and vegan butter), and vegan mashed potatoes (used rice milk and vegan butter) and vegan gravy (thickened veggie stock), and made the cranberry sauce that is in the book. I only had one small piece of turkey and one small piece of ham. I definitely didn't stuff myself like in previous years but yeah, I too ate a little bit of it all.
I decided to go vegetarian for a few months ago and am now working on moving to vegan. Last week was a disaster for me, I ate more meat in the last 5 days than I have in months. You are not alone :-)
I feel icky and can't wait to get back to being meat & dairy free!
Oh my gosh! I know what you mean. My bf is Mexican and so is my sisters husband and I went to both of their houses! Meat, meat and more meat. Hams, turkeys etc. My sisters inlaws actually stuffed their turkey with hamburger, lol!
I tried and tried but they gave me tequila! I lost all control, I just picked at it, but about seven times or so, which I am sure made a whole plate.
Oh, well, my swollen belly and the huge pimple on my chin are my punishment.
I am now drinking lemon water with pepper :)
