I bought the kind diet as I was sick of food, the same old food that is and no idea what to make. I wanted to eat healthier or more natural rather since I was not a "bad" eater before.
I made my first meal from the book, Black Soybean and Kabocha Squash Stew. I ran into a little issue with the soybeans, when I put in 3 cups of water, let it boil and then reduced the heat and walked away....well, the water evaporated and they were a little burnt tasting, however.....the stew is AWESOME!!!!! I have called all my friends and am taking it to work for people to try. I can't wait to make the next recipe (after I eat the stew of course!) My roommate who is the pickiest person on earth loves the stew....Thank you Alicia for writing this. --Stacy
