I'm working on the transition from vegetarian to vegan. My husband & son have been very supportive and eat what ever I put on the table.
I recently fell in love with the wakame salad served at sushi restaurants, and soon followed my hubby and son, yay! So I've decided to try and make my own. Found a recipe on line, picked up all the ingredients and gave it a go. The taste is similar but the wakame neither looks nor has the same texture as the ones from the sushi restaurants. Am I missing something? Anyone experience the same or have suggestions? Where can I get sushi restaurant style wakame? Have a good recipe? Is it always dehydrated?
