Keeping in mind the whole "reduce, reuse, recycle" theme I've been reading about on The Kind Life website, I deided to do some of my Christmas shopping at an antique/flea market today. I took my 22 month old daughter with me (quite the adventure!) Anyhoo, while we were there, my daughter saw an old fur coat hanging up. She pointed at it and said "that's a doggie's outfit!" I responded to her (in a voice loud enough to be overheard by store employees and whoever else might be close by) "You're right honey, that outfit does belong on an animal...the animal it came from!" So strange that a toddler understands that fur belongs on animals but that many adults still think that it belongs on people!
