Christmas cookies

Hi everybody! I need some help getting a good vegan sugar cookie recipe. My mom is coming to visit soon and she would like to make and decorate sugar cookies with her grand-daughters. I have lots of recipes for other vegan cookies, but none for plain old sugar cookies (perhaps because they typically call for a crap-load of butter!) I would really appreciate any tips you all might have. Thanks!
Hippiechick, I too was looking for vegan sugar cookie recipes! My kids love to bake as well. I found a few recipes online, just google vegan sugar cookie recipes. After looking at some of them I've decided to ask my mom for her sugar cookie recipe and convert it to a vegan one.....earth balance instead of butter.....maple sugar instead of processed. I hope that helps!
Thanks so much Holly! I really appreciate the tips on how to convert an old recipe. I don't have a whole lot of experience in the kitchen, so I wasn't sure that you could substitute ingredients like that. I'll try it too and we can see how it goes! :) Enjoy baking with your little ones!
