Hey I've just become a vegetarian and I'm flirting with veganism. I was just wondering on a vegan or vegetarian diet, how many calories should you be taking in a day? I don't really count calories, but I want to make sure I'm getting enough or not too many.

It is almost impossible to accurately count calories when eating natural whole plant foods (no labels to read on that apple). Luckily, it is unnecessary to do so. Eat as much as you wish from the whole plant foods recommended in the superhero plan and you will not be getting too many calories. Remember that proportions of vegan food appear much larger than standard fare.
