Breakfast Food - I have to share!!

Hey guys, I didn't know how to post it so I'm just doing it this way...I actually got this recipe from Gordon Ramseys cookbook and I've always had it for breakfast, and it's delicious! I would have it everyday! All you do is take: 1 cup of dry rolled oats and 3/4 cup of almond milk (you can use any kind, I just prefer this. He also uses skim milk, so I just substituted) put it together in a bowl and put it in the fridge the night before. Then in the morning you take it out and add 1/2 cup of more milk, drizzle just about a tablespoon of honey (as a sweetner) and a handful of mixed berries.....I PROMISE you'll LOVE it! It is completley fufilling!
Well I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow. Thanks!
I will be having this for breakfast, too. Thanks for sharing!
ok, that is awesome...this solves my problem of wanting to make something easy but also trying to avoid the microwave. thanks for sharing!!!
you can also sort of do this with steel cut oats. heat up the water, add the oats, turn the heat off, cover, and leave over night. in the morning all you have to do is heat it back up which takes only a few minutes. i like to add a little brown rice syrup to sweeten it up. yum!
No problem everyone! I would love to hear your opinions on it after you try it! And Lindsay: thanks for the idea, I will definatley try that out!
I tried this and it was great!
Something for breakfast I don't have to cook?!?!? I think you just saved my life! Or at least my mornings. LOL Thanks!
Lindsay, if I'm using steel-cut oats, I cook them in water and am not adding the almond milk? Do I have that right? I always wanted to use steel-cut oats but never have because somehow I got the impression they couldn't be stored without becoming a brick. LOL
What a cool idea! Never heard this before! Thank You! For the vegans you can substitute the honey with agave nectar.
