Hello! I have been vegan for a little over a month now. In an effort to drop ten pounds, I decided to try going superhero starting today! I had big plans for the morning: wake up and start my day with the weight loss daikon carrot tea. First of all it was kind of a pain to make, and it smelled and tasted really bad! I just couldn't drink it! I tried but couldn't do it. Anyone else have this happen? Did anyone stick with it and have good results?

Hey Meghan,Yeah...I had the same experience. I had to CHOKE it down...it was awful!!! Once was enough for me...I'm sure that just being a superhero will work...or try drinking more green tea? Thats what I've been doing instead...
Good luck!!

I made the tea the other day too and agree that it smelled terrible and was difficulit to drink. Does anyone know if you are supposed to strain it and just drink the liquid. There is no way I could drink all the pulp that was left over. Maybe I did something wrong but I really didn't think it was drinkable.

i've tried it twice. I'm really trying my hardest to lose some weight, so i weight for it to cool down a bit and then have a HUGE glass of water beside me. if you alternate (and plug your nose while drinking the tea, it really helps) it is semi tolerable. I'm going to do it for 10 days straight so i'll let you guys know if there are any results.
