Last night my sister and I were cruising the cookbook section at Borders and I spotted the Babycakes cookbook. My eyes popped out of my head and a huge grin spread over my face. Unfortunately I was unable to buy the book (holiday gifts come first) but I did find a couple recipes online. One of them was a recipe for cinnamon banana bread. My sister and I made the bread this morning and it was amazing!! if anyone has the cookbook I would be interested to know what you think of it. I have read reviews on it and some people are disappointed, but if the other recipes are at all like this one, then I can't wait to get a copy of it.
I knoooow, I'm SO tempted by the Babycakes book, too, I have heard SUCH good things about their stuff - starting from right here with Alicia mentioning it! Did the recipe come together pretty easily for you? So glad it was such a success.
I actually substituted the gluten flour for regular flour and I was able to eliminate the xanthum gum. It turned out great!!
I have heard this is a great cookbook and so is vegan cupcakes take over the world...but so far havent bought these yet, thanks for sharing!!
