I am experiencing extremely dry skin on this kind diet. Has anyone seen an improvement in their skin after taking Coconut Oil Supplements or from rubbing the oil on their skin?

I don't know about coconut oil supplements, but I do like to use as a moisturizer in dire situations.

If you are having a real problem since starting the diet I would suggest increasing your water intake and your natural heart healthy oils. Such as Olive oil, sunflower oil, and even avacados. If your not getting enough water or fat your skin will suffer. Also, with it being winter time we all get a little dry and chapped. Good luck!

I use coconut oil for EVERYTHING!! Its a natural antiviral and a wonderful moisturizer. If I feel like I'm getting sick, I eat a few tablespoons. I use it alot on my skin in winter. It clears up all kinds of bumps and rashes!

Coconut Oil is definitely worth looking into! I also use coconut oil for EVERYTHING - in cooking and on my skin and hair as a moisturizer. There is alot of good info on uses of this, and there is a book called the "coconut Oil miracle" - its an easy read with good info.
