heya gang,

so all of a sudden 2. 5 weeks into cutting out meat and weening off dairy ( had some cheese about 3 times), my mouth is NOT a happy camper. i've got 3 currently playing' around in there, and i don't normally get cankers.

wondering if this is a product of my body detoxing off of my old eating habits and onto a new one (though, i have always eaten lots of veg and fruit and not a ton of meat)...

anyways, wondering if others have experienced this?

i've heard all kinds of theories as to why cankers exist (too much vitamin c, not enough vitamin c, stress, too much of something, etc)
grrr wish i could get a mouth transplant!!

thx jen - appreciate your response.

the more i research cankers, the more it seems no one knows the true cause. but makes sense, that our bodies are ridding themselves of icky things and so our mouths may also experience this.

seems some sources say cankers are more frequent around the good ol visit of aunt flo. and yup, got me my lovely triplets around this time ;)

ahh i never tire, of discovering the fun bodily functions we humans are capable of.
