Great expereince in Boston

I am in Boston visiting a good friend of mine who goes to Emerson College. I was a little bit worried that it would be difficult finding vegan options there, and that I might be singled out as the "weird one" because of my dietary choices. This morning we woke up and had to rush to make it to the library (where my friend works) and didn't have time to get breakfast. Once we were there we were both starving and decided to order out. We used this website called foodler.com and found a restaurant called the Tremont Street Cafe. I got the Hummus & Vegetable Wrap with lettuce, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and red pepper (there is normally feta cheese but I asked them to take it out) and the fruit bowl and it was SO good. It was filling and yummy and wonderful and superhero!

There are other locations for this restaurant as well but I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the Boston area and need a quick meal or if you are ordering out.

Eating out had always been stressful for me because I am a littlbe bit paranoid after having a couple bad experience (finding piles of cheese in my "vegan" burrito). So I think that it was really important for me to have a positive ordering/eating out expereince.

So I got to eat a wonderfully good, simple, superhero (I think) meal and best of all my friend was happy and willing and accomadate to my vegan needs. Yay friends!

Just wanted to share with everyone - I hope you guys are having a great weekend!

I just wanted to say that I am so happy that this community exists. It has truly changed my outlook on food and my body for life. From now on I am eating to generate peace and it feels fantastic! Oh and it tastes delicious too (:
