Since going vegan, I've experienced almost daily nausea- it suuuuccksss! Has anyone had any response to dietary changes like this? I've been to the dr to see if I was pregnant and have taken 2 home tests in the last two weeks- so this doesn't seem to be an issue. Any ideas? I'm thinking I will just go to the dr. again if this doesn't subside soon. My non-vegan bf of course suggested I start eating meat again-- arrghhh! Help!

I've been a vegan for almost one month now and I have felt like CRAP almost the entire time. No nausea though, just weak and tired. I get the same response from non-vegan friends that I need to eat meat also...not gonna do it!

It sounds like a detox issue or an allergy maybe? Any particular foods causing it?

You might want to try some ginger tea or peppermint tea. They usually help me with nausea! That is no fun!

I definitely agree with ginger and/or peppermint tea. Sometimes green tea makes me nauseous and sometimes I feel nauseous before my period.
I think you could still be detoxing, depending on what you ate pre-vegan, or you could have a food allergy. Try keeping a diary of what you are eating and notice when you start feeling nauseus and then you might have an idea of what's causing it.

ginger tea totally helps as ppl mentioned above. i have this ginger and lemon herbal tea which not only helps nausea but also stomach cramps during yur u no wat time of the month. i agree with alicias comment about going superhero..... ive been vegan for a while but id experience that nausea thing every so often. it could be due to the processed foods- while soy milk and stuff are better for you than normal milk for example, their still kinda processed. or you may have a food allergy you didnt notice before. if youve introduced a new food to your diet and having it alot maybe your allergic to that. id just think about exactly what you were eating before you went vegan (it could be hard to remember but just write it down) then all the foods your having now and see if theres anything that might be causing it... then pay attention to how you feel when you eat your food and after you eat it, and hopefully youll sort it out quickly. good luck!!
