I became vegan 2months ago after reading the Kind Life and then doing research into health, environment, and animal welfare as well. Went from being being a meat and dairy eater to vegan without any problems and am loving it! I am even so excited to force my family into a vegan christmas dinner (going to make the seitan roulade from Vegan yum yum) and not tell grandma what it is... anyway around teh 2 month mark i woke up with the tell tale sighns if illness (after late nights of studying and probably being tired and not exercising) and decided to take the day superhero and resting. I had miso for breakfast and lunch, and some friend udon noodles, with cure all tea, echinacha, and tons of garlic/ginger. Woke up the next morning completly cured!!!

what makes me so agry is the fact that doctors jut dont tell you this stuff!!!!

I agree Rebecca! I haven't yet gotten a cold, but I've had beginning symptoms about 3 times already. Every time I notice my throat getting scratchy, my body feeling achy, or my nose stuffing up, I immediately eat very superhero and make sure not to have anything sugary. Also, I make sure to get enough rest by taking naps before late babysitting jobs. It's worked every time! Glad you got over your illness!
