Less pain during that special time of the month

I've started the vegan lifestyle for about 3 weeks now. I was wondering if it would ease my menstrual cramps. I just got my period, and I do have cramps - but what a DIFFERENCE!!! I'm not taking any pain killers for them. Not eating any white sugar or caffeine. I still have cramps, but they are bearable. Before I couldn't even get out of bed if I didn't take any pain killers. I am so happy with the difference:)!

Has anyone else noticed a difference?

OMG! I have totally noticed a difference! Before I started this I litterally felt like I was having a baby every month. I lived on pamprin and heating pads for a week. Now my cramps are non existant and I don't get my regular monthly chin break out! Last month I barely even knew I had my period! It's so awesome.

I know!! Usually, I would take Midol, and never felt great taking it; because it would make me like I'm on drugs. I used to be in so much pain. The cramps were horrible, felt like I was giving birth too hahaha!!! I love this new way of eating!!!

I have a bad back, and it's been hardly in pain too!!

So double YAY! I'm glad you feel better too Teenie:)

I definitely can tell the difference too~! It's amazing how not eating dairy can help your body feel it's best!

Ladies you give me great hope! I hate the chin breakouts and taking so many drugs to feel normal!

Thanks for the inspiration! So I guess I do not need to dread that time of the month as much! YAHOO!!

Huge difference, I was shouting from the roof tops... Thought the first one was coincidence, then the second one and third.... and now I've had many... Big Big difference!

Congrats on your success :-)

Not only do you all feel better, you are reducing your risk factors for both breast and uterine cancer! When imbalance causes symptoms, disease is not far behind.
