Today I started my 10 days of tea in the morning. I truly need some advice on how to get the diakon and carrot to a pulp. All I had was my handheld shredder, so I ended up straining the plum piece, carrot and diakon at the end as I couldn't imagine chewing my tea...

PLEASE HELP!!

thanks ;)

All I could find in my area (which I had to travel 70 miles to get to a Whole Foods) were pickled plums. Dang, didn't even think of going of going to the Asian market....

Regardless, still need help. What do you mean, got the diakon and carrots in the fridge?

I put the ingredients in a food processor and pureed the ingredients before boiling.

Thanks Amanda- do the ingredients remain chunky once you boil it? If so, what do you do with it?

Basically all umeboshi plums are pickled. You don't get them fresh.

Alicia has stated elsewhere on the site to drink the juice and eat the pulp.
