I'm shopping for a new bag and am looking for suggestions for cool designers. (Looking for unique textiles rather than faux leather or anything plasticy)

I have looked at the designers that Alicia posted (Amber Pollard, Pansy Maiden, etc), and they are super-cute but I would like to shop around a little bit more...

Let me know if you all have found anything fun out there! Thanks!! :)

I love the Espe collection and they are cruelty-free. Check them out here:http://www.espe.ca/eshop/eshop/shop.html

My favorite-Crystalyn Kae, handmade in Seattle. Washable vegan bags, check out her website or do a search on Etsy.

From Portland, OR, Queen Bee Handbags! www.queenbee-creations.com. I am addicted to these bags, have about 5 of them. Totally vegan, totally unique and fun and stylish. You can buy them online, or, they sell them throughout the US in various boutiques. AND, they JUST opened their own retail store in Portland! Can't wait to visit it!

My cousin makes really cool animal friendly bags for a very inexpensive price ($25-$45). My mom got one for the holidays and I was very very impressed. She has a link on Etsy....Designs By Ashton. Thinking of buying one for myself!!
