I have to admit, I fell off the wagon this holiday season, eating WAY more chocolate than I should have. I guess this is my way of trying to find support. : )

Holidays are hard....even good meaning people buy/make things that are non vegan. And let's face it, none of us are saints...to go from (however many) years of being an omni to vegan overnight is not easy...and temptation calls, especially now. So don't beat youself up over it, just recommit to eating healthier...and move on. Besides a little more chocolate over the holidays is nowhere near as bad as the turkey/ham that I had last year.

I'm sure you're not the only one! Well, I know you're not the only one because there is me!!! I'm disappointed about but I hadn't acutally completely given chocolate/sugar/caffeine up. Today is the first day I'm actually trying to go cold turkey from coffee (I still had some tea with caffeine though...I've got to use it up, right? :-(( ) and sugar and it's going okay so far but I'm in a gloomy mood. Could be the weather though too. I really need to kick these habits though because they're the two things that really get me down. I don't have a problem at all being vegan but the sugar and caffeine are my weakness and I think they're bad for me mentally. I end up feeling very scattered a lot. Always running from room to room, never quite remembering why?!?! lol Also, I tend to get very distracted and impulsive (currently I'm trying to convince my husband to pack up move from NYC to San Francisco or LA...and this is just 1 1/2 years after returning to NYC from San Francisco after only living there for a year and me doing the exact same thing....sigh....It might just be me but I'm hoping that if I kick these habits I might be a bit more clear minded and not make such knee jerk decisions.
