Question about Seasonal Produce

I understand that it is better for you and completely natural to eat produce that is in season in your climate. It does make a lot of sense. So much of what we do goes against nature, while this would be a better choice. After all, in the old days, an orange was considered a rare treat and a Christmas present--now we have them everywhere! Still, what if you live in a semi-arid, cold climate like Colorado? What produce can I have in the winter? I know we grow peaches in the summer, but what else? I'm afraid my options would be severely limited. Any advice, ideas, or suggestions?

I was having the same questions since I live in NE Pennsylvania and we have pretty much the same climate.

Good questions! Try this website. All you have to do is select your state and the season and it gives you the information.
