Hi!
What a marvelous community out here! My friend Karen Singer, who Alicia wrote about today on the site, visited me today at my store and was so excited about her success! Karen introduced me to Alicia's book recently, so incredible!
This is a great journey, everyone, little by little I changed my diet, slowly taking things like dairy, sugars, meats out, did some macrobiotic, then raw, then went off again (holidays:)), now starting back on the journey for the new year....I'm telling you, this diet makes you feel 10 years (or more!) younger! (And since my gram lived to 102, I expect to as well, so I got a long ways to go!)
Alicia talks about a macrobiotic counselor, John Kozinski, who is an awesome speaker. If anyone is in the area, he is speaking this Friday at Nature's Cupboard in Glenview. The title is Macrobiotic Philosophy of Health and Healing.

Guys, Margaret is an unstoppable force herself and has been dear and invaluable to me on my journey, and it's a WEIRD and incredible confluence that John Kozinski is comin' to Glenview - I'll be there and c'mon KL-ers, I wanna meet you!
Alicia, I was just gonna tell you about this, it's so great Margaret came her own self. Juuuuust found out about it today - Grrrrrr, I wish you were in Chicago and not all far away in NYC! :)
Oh wow. Really? I currently live in Tinley Park, IL right now....right on the outskirts of Chicago. I might go up to the conference. I have a job interview tomorrow so I'm not sure if I get it, I might be training. But I'll see what I can do! Thanks for the info!!
