Has anyone tried the Carrot Diakon Drink from Alicia's book? I am just wondering if the carrot and diakon can be grated and kept in the fridge ahead of time. I wanted to drink it for the 10 days, but find it difficult to grate each morning. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Hey Jamie, I just seen this post and thought many you can help me out!
I just started superhero and I am a little confused about this tea. I really want to try it and do it right. I tried making it the other night, but I got grossed out with all the chunks...am I supposed to take the chunks out?? Because that would be great if I could. :) haha
How do you make it?? Thanks!

no you eat all the ingredients.

Also, I think chopping/grating ahead of time gives food less power or something- I remember reading it somewhere (not in TKD)

Hi Jamie I put the carrots and daikon in a small mixer I have (I make enough for two days), I do it in the evening and put it in the fridge so that in the morning I use the half of it...I drink/eat it all in a medium glass with 1/2 umeboshi pulm ,few drops of shoyu and some wakame....it's pretty filling....it's not my fave thing to drink first in the morning, but it's only for 10 days so I can't complain! Usually I drink a glass of warm water with some lemon juice and a a teaspoon of rice syrup...much better! Good luck!

I just tried it for the first time today. Def not my fave breakfast treat
;-p but it wasn't horrible. I put the carrot and diakon in a mini food processor the night before and it seemed fine this morning. I sipped the tea while I made breakfast for my kids (crocodile crunch from TKD) and then sat down to finish the rest with a spoon.
