Hi! I'm just wondering if there is anyone here who lives in Melbourne, Australia? Or even just Australia?
I'm still new to the kind life but I'm loving it. Most of the people in my circle of friends are vegan or vegetarian & they know of a few great places (grocery stores as well as restaraunts) so if anyone is nearby I'd love to know :) Maybe we can all meet up! :)

However, I think there is quite a community of vegans in Melbourne - this blog is a collection of vegan food blogs just from Melbourne :-)

I am hoping to move to Melbourne in July, from Canada. Are there lots of great veggie places, and health food stores there?
I am in Florida now but my family will be relocated to Sydney in spring 2011. We are beyond excited. How is the veg scene out there???
I'm actually not even living in Australia anymore - I'm in China for a year (barely anything vegan here!)
Can W - so sorry, just saw your post! There are quite a few cool veg places in Melbourne, there's a place called the Radical Grocery Store on Sydney Rd, & there are a few places called 'Lentil As Anything' that has yummy food & because it's a charitable organisation you pay what you can afford. Another awesome place is 'Lord Of The Fries' which has delicious vegan burgers. Google any of these places for more info.
