I agree with the advice to eat more greens and vegetables. Also, is your peanut butter all-natural (just peanuts and maybe salt)? Because if it's the typical grocery store kind, like JIF, it's probably loaded with high fructose corn syrup. Exercising might be what you need to speed up your weight loss. If you're new to working out, start out walking, doing ellipticals, etc.
hi everyone such great advice.
elisa i agree. luna bar should be very last resort more like a dessert. if weight loss is your goal go back and read the wieght loss section of the book.
i would eliminate if you are serious about weight loss....
luna bar
banana
penut butter
pineapple
bread
grains are very good for you...whole grains...rice,quinoa....
beans....hummus is good! not more than a cup a day.
eat your greens and veggies.....
aleta
raw diet makes me fat and have acne.
read the superhero section...i promise if you follow superhero for a few days you will see the difference.....
and at 2 weeks of it you will be in heaven.
please keep me posted!
thank you for your passion and commitment
Thanks Alicia for the tips on which foods to cut out ... i had no idea about the bananas.
Is Alicia saying not to have more than a cup of grains a day or hummus a day.. or both??
try more of the whole grain unprocessed in it's natural form. Hulled Barley, rye, brown rice, amaranth, millet, quinoa, instead of breads or luna bar. And i gain weight when i drink almond milk but not when i use it to cook with. Weird huh. U just gotta find what your body is sensative to. I too had alot of stomach issues and pain that i no longer have now that i am vegan. For me it was the meat and milk. When i eat meat i get bad stomach pain it took me so long to figure that out since 'everybody' thinks u have to have meat in your diet lol.
