I am 6 months pregnant and just read this book. I am already a vegetarian but am inspired now to eat even healthier for myself and my family. I have a meat-eating husband (who is willing to try any meal at least once luckily!) and a very finicky 2 yr old. Any suggestions or words of wisdom out there for me while pregnant? Thank you!

They say that it takes at least 10 introductions to a new food before a child will accept it. Keep going longer than that if needed. Keep giving your kids lots of different veggies and praise him/her for at least trying it whether or not they like it.

This is what we did and our boys (6 & 8) have no problems eating veggie only stir frys or trying interesting things that they haven't tried before. Because of this, I've also been able to take the family meals to a mostly vegan stance without them noticing at all.
