My cat Rosie

Hi Kind Lifers-I was hoping that you would send positive vibes and thoughts to my cat Rosie who was admitted to the hospital tonight with jaundice which may be a sign of liver disease/ailment. Rosie has been with me for 10 years and is a beloved companion and such an important part of my life. Get well Rosie!
Awww... I hope she gets better! I really do! I know what it's like to have a pet sick in the hospital. My puppy Riley was very sick in the hospital a few months ago, fortunately he got better. Anyway, I wish you and Rosie all the best!

Thanks so much everyone for your kind thoughts! Rosie is still in the hospital but we had a great visit tonight and it looks like she's responding to the medicine. Keep your paws crossed :-)
I am happy to report that Rosie is home from the hospital. She's getting outpatient therapy (i.e., fluids) and I'm giving her 3 meds daily. It's still unclear if this is an episode that Rosie will bounce back from and not have issues or if it will be chronic. Right now, the vet says that Rosie's progress has been amazing and there's a lot of reasons to be hopeful. Rosie has energy and is very happy to be home. In fact, we had a great, decadent 4 hour nap this afternoon :-)
