Too Sweet

Dear All,
I need some support - my sweet tooth is taking over and what usually keeps it at bay is losing force ( Kukicha tea, amazake, sweet vegetables...).In general I think I'm stressed out and not getting enough sleep, not exercising enough, and not getting enough time to cook my staple greens and miso soup. I went for two vegan cookies at whole foods today and now feel likea grumpy space case - I can't concentrate and i just want to scrap all my plans and go curl up in bed. I accredit this to being out of balance, being too yin. Any ideas on how to get through the day?
Maybe I should have prefaced this post with saying that I've been eating macrobiotic foods since December 1st, 2009. I cut out dairy, caffeine, A LOT of sugar, and meat ( I do eat fish occasionally) . I 've felt pretty stable through the changes and have lost almost 10 pounds.
For some reason sugar and it's beguiling ways are still able to tempt me and bring me down...
Thanks for listening!
