I'm very excited to be a part of this community and learn from everyone! I've struggled with moderate to severe acne ever since high school (now approaching 24) and have tried many treatments only to find it returns. The only option I've had with good result is going on the pill and I've been on and off it for three years now. Hearing about the potential problems I may have in the future if I continue taking the pill makes me want to get off of it for good. I'm now off and my acne is returning in full force! I know the amazing results for one's skin once they start a vegan diet, I'm just afraid that it won't work for me because it seems my acne is hormone related and I'm afraid the only cure is the dreaded pill. Does anyone know more or know any good resources I can look to? I just picked up Alicia's book a couple days ago so I'm very much a newbie to this world and am very excited to become more educated and healthy! Thanks so much! :)
