Your calorie intake sounds kinda low for an average day. And being on your feet at a restaurant takes a ton of energy. Sounds like your body isn't getting enough fuel for all that hard work! I would start upping the calories to start with. I don't mean go nuts. Keep the calorie intake reasonable, but also try eating more often during the day. Instead of 3 meals, try 5 small ones spread out 3-4 hours apart. Keeps the metabolism firing all day long when it has a reliable resource of fuel. When you're running on empty, it's very hard to muster any energy! So fill up the tank!

Wow, reading all this info has been great. I was strict vegan for a few months and I felt so awful I started to eat meat again. I was never a milk drinker but I liked cheese, which I have now discovered is the big source of my runny/stuffy nose and allergies. More grains and b vitamins sound like just what I need. Time to start over again. Thanks everybody!!!

I have been "flirting" for a month now, and have also hit a slump. Thanks for all these awesome suggestions! smiley-laughing.gif

Hello again.
So I took all of the advice into consideration. Eating more grains, well eating more in general, taking a B12 supplement, and eating throughout the day and I have to say that I already feel a million times better!!!

I woke up this morning to a clear mind. I didn't feel groggy like usual and I even had the energy to go for a run, which also helped boost my energy.

Thanks for all the ideas. Hope everyone else who was feeling the same starts to feel great again soon!!!

That's great Stephanie! I'm so glad you're feeling better--& even more excited you were able to get active! THAT is the BEST energy boost. You have to expend energy to gain energy; that's how it works!
