I found myself bored in front of the televison yesterday just waiting for the playoff games to start. My boyfriend and I started flipping through the guide and I spotted a show called Earthtripping. We decided to watch it and were very happily surprised by what we found. An entire television channel based around environmentally and socially conscious ideas.

Earthtripping is hosted by Ethan Zohn (professional soccer player, and survivor Africa winner) and follows him around the globe to some of the most interesting international locations where he meets with the locals and shares the culture and the green innovations of the country/city. It was really cool to watch.

We realized in watching this short program that this is one of many eye opening and inspiring shows on a network dedicated to positive change and consciousness. Shows vary from HGTV-esque design shows to a show about one man's journey across Australia by skateboard. Its the coolest channel, called Halogen.
