I am almost 1 year vegetarian and am working on going to a vegan diet. I have been trying numerous recipes and have thus far found the transition to be fairly easy. Fortunately for me I love veggies, grains and all the good stuff that should be included in a healthy diet (vegan or otherwise). I am finding this website to be fun and informative. When people ask me why I am choosing this lifestyle I say "three reasons: my health, the planet's health and for the animals." Everytime I choose to not eat an animal I am doing something positive for those three things. I also feel much better in my soul.
