Does anyone have any good smoothie recipes?

I've been doing peanut butter/banana smoothies: one banana, about a tablespoon of peanut butter, a generous handful of greens of whatever sort I have on hand, some coconut milk, and I grind up about a tablspoon of flax seeds and add them too. Add enough milk alternative (we use Rice Dream) to make it liquid enough to grind everything. You don't taste the greens, they just make it a kind of pale minty color, but the peanut butter and banana comes through vibrantly. The nice thing is I don't get hungry at all for the entire morning!

Mine is similar but varies each time:
2 c rice milk
1 frozen banana
1 -2 t peanut butter
1 t agave

then i add one or more of the following:
spinach
flaxseed or oil
spirulina
or leave out the peanut butter and add frozen berries

Greens in a Smoothie?! I have never tried this. Do you use frozen or raw spinach? I'm a bit scared but I may have to try it. : )

i use fresh and it doesn't affect the flavor at all! it's a great way to get more in your diet!!

Yeah, this seems like magic to me - must try it! But what's the ratio - how much of the greens can you add and still have them "hide"...and what kinds of greens work and which don't? Some, like kale, for example, seem soooooo tough raw! I'm down with the spinach and all that, but kale and collards...really? :)

Eeeps - Just saw Mollie, you said a handfull...care to clarify, I've got a really little hand - LOL!

i haven't tried kale or collards. with spinach i put a large handful in. you can't taste it at all. maybe with kale try less at first and see what it tastes like...seriously spinach hides really well!!
