I just bought Alicia's book a few days ago and am flying through the pages. I have always been a healthy eater, exerciser, etc., but recently I have had digestive issues and many of the problems that Alicia describes in her book before she became a Vegan. But after hearing how great everyone feels after becoming a vegan, I have decided to commit to the vegan lifestyle for at least a month to see what kind of results it has on my body. I am recently married and my husband and I are both committed to living a healthy lifestyle; however, we love going out to eat and the occasional splurge. I have asked my husband to join me on this journey, and, although he is not very excited about giving up coffee, eggs, and cheese, I think I have him committed too. We both currently eat meat and dairy so it's definitely not going to be easy, but I am so excited!! We haven't picked our start date yet, because I want to finish Alicia's book first. In the meantime, I would love to connect with anyone going through this lifestyle change with your hesitant, significant other or anyone from the DFW area! Any tips or advice for starting the vegan lifestyle would be greatly appreciated! I love the community here in The Kind Life, and I know it is only going to help as I begin my vegan journey!
