Hi there :)....My name is Cathy and am new to this site. After a difficult week (lost a close family member this week ) and am feeling this need for change, so that I don't find myself in the same position as my family member did. I saw Alicia on Oprah and wasn't going to watch because I was expecting a in your face kind of preaching about vegetarianism.....which was not the case at all....seems that her approach is doable for people who have been meat/dairy/process food eaters their whole lives. I have made big changes this past year due to having my gallbladder removed but am looking to take another step and now is as good a time as any :). Can anyone tell me what some of the recipes are in her book? I would like to know before ordering it and I can't find that info online. I am looking foward to learning more about changing my food lifestyle....and hopefully in the process lose weight :) .....would like to lose about 60 lbs. Anyways I just wanted to introduce myself before starting to search the site :)....have a great day everyone :).
