Anyone miss milk or white chocolate?

Hi everyone! I was browsing my local health food store today when I found a chocolate bar in the raw vegan section (apparently there is such a section!), and it said MILK CHOCOLATE! I look to the left and I see WHITE CHOCOLATE! Then I see the words "raw, vegan, soy and gluten free." I don't know about you, but I haven't been able to find vegan milk or white chocolate, and I got really excited, as I was never a huge fan of the dark. Anyway, I thought I'd share the website because there must be other people out there who miss milk chocolate...and this is rediculously healthy for a sweet treat! :). It's called Organic Nectars, and it is definitely very expensive, but I bought a bar because I wanted to treat myself! They use coconut milk as the "milk" part. It's local chocolate for me, made in the Hudson Valley, but you can order online:

The company also makes raw vegan ice cream that I believe I've mentioned on this site before, and they make agave sweetened raw sauces for ice cream. Everything I've had from them tastes amazing. I'm sad they are so expensive, but they are definitely worth the indulgence! The milk chocolate had a slightly grain-ier consistency than your standard cows milk chocolate, but that was the only difference. So good! Also, if any of you live in the Hudson Valley (or even perhaps NYC), keep an eye out for Organic Nectars at your health food store! One of my favorite vegan brands for sure :).

I love white chocolate; while dark has been growing on me, I was sad to think I wouldn't be eating white anymore, lol. I'm so happy to hear this and will definitely be getting some in the future!

Hi Nicole! I'm going to try the white chocolate next time I go to the Health Food store, and I'll report back! The milk was great so hopefully the white will be as well...I was a little sad thinking that I might never enjoy milk or white chocolate again...I wonder why it hasn't become more of a thing to make "milk" chocolate with alternative milks? Perhaps there just isn't enough demand for it, but I sure hope there gets to be!

You can buy vegan white chocolate chips and nonpareils from veganstore.com.
