I just started reading the book and the life style 4 days ago. I want to start out strong and would like some support. I don't have to much at home because they just don't understand. I've already began to try out some of alicia's recipes and have been having a lot of fun. I've breezed through almost the entire book of reading. I really love cooking and trying a lot of these new things. I've had fun rediscovering the Whole Foods market, and learning the new ways to live. If there are any suggestions or tips out there, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it. Also any other books, and/or websites you can refer would be awesome. Thank you! Happy Living!
I like Alicias suggestion to have a day, maybe like Sunday, to prepare for the week. I spent yesterday morning at the local Farmers Market, then went over to Whole Foods. I came home and made a huge batch of brown rice, soup, banana muffins and cleaned and cut all of my produce. So, now when the week is a little hectic, I have some really good food on hand to grab that is all ready. I can throw all my veggies into a bowl and toss with some beans and dressing. Or grab a scoop of rice. Or even heat up a bowl of soup. I totally think that you need to be prepared when you are first starting this lifestyle change. And this is what has helped me. Good luck!
