sucralose in infant tylenol!?!

I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions about alternatives to infant tylenol. My 5 month old baby has a terrible cold and my husband keeps wanting to give him infant tylenol, and as much as I hate to see my baby uncomfortable, I just can't understand why I would give him medication containing artificial sweeteners!!! Can you believe this stuff is in infant tylenol!?! Do any of you have any suggestions? Thanks!!
