I am totally into Alicias book, I so love to cook and need some more
good recipes. Please recommend some good cookbooks that will
fill that need with fabulous flavors and vegetables

Hi Mary - Alicia's book "The Kind Diet" has so many yummy superhero recipes that I am finding those recipes have lasted me since November when I started using it. I can't imagine adding another cookbook yet. Maybe you have whizzed through them already though - I'm anxious to hear what others recommend on the macrobiotic level.

I was wondering if humus is an acceptable snack food, with carrots or rice crackers. Also, is brown rice bread ok? I understand it will count as a processed whole grain. An other question is coconut milk or curry ok? All of these are on the Superhero diet of course. Thanks. Max

Clean Food: A Sesonal Guide to Eating Close to the Source with More than 200 Recipes for a Healthy and Susainable Lifestyle
Author: Terry Walters
ISBN: 9781402768149

I work in a book store so I went browsing to see if i could find a book that helped me to understand the different ingredients in the Superhero diet. What I found with this book was amazing! Not only is it 200 pages of recipes that almost all follow the Superhero plan but also a glossary and index off all the vegetables and grains used in the book. This helped me to understand the grains and their protein content a little better and helped me get a more detailed introduction to all those yummy veggies!!

The author is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor who has been cooking Superhero and clean for herself and her family for years.

I hope that this can help anyone who has some lingering questions about those vegetables and grains, and also insipre others with some amazing sounding superhero recipes!! Yum.
