I gave up diary over 1 month ago after being a vegetarian for over 3 years and being obsessed with dairy. My skin has NEVER looked this great. I usually get a few blemishes here and there and I have not had anything in over a month! On top of that, I feel great! Who wouldn't want to feel great and have great looking skin?

give it time... your body is probably going through a detoxing stage. If u stick with it and ride it out... it should clear up and you'll be glowing in no time! :)

I think, not really sure, but that is just from detoxing. Just keep at it and it will be worth it!

Yes, my skin broke out like crazy before clearing up. It is discouraging, but give it time and it will get better!!

How long should you feel the detox effects with your skin? I am 22 days Vegan and my skin is an absolute disaster. It seems to get better when I sleep and then become inflamed when I wake. So discouraging. One of my little knots under the surface has just been sitting there for over 2 weeks now and it's not doing anything. Better skin was one of the benefits I was really looking forward to.

Kristen -- I'm in the same boat.
I'm 3 weeks vegan and my skin is freaking out. The first 2 weeks my skin was great, amazing even. Then I got 2 volcanoes (that's my best analogy) on the bridge of my nose, and one finally erupted resulting in a monstrosity on my face.
Now I'm noticing that the skin on my back and chest is being affected.

Agh.

OH no... I was also looking forward to my skin clearing up with my new eating habits. This is scary... I hope I get the vegan glow that everyone talks about. Right now my skin is anything but clear.
Kristen, let me know how your skin is doing in a few weeks.

I have read about detoxing and it is possible that is what is happening here.

Some of the processed foods that vegans use as substitutes for meat and cheese have ingredients that could be causing breakouts.

I would suggest you go superhero if you can, it is very balanced and most likely will result in the effects you want to see.
