Looking for quick, easy sauces for steamed veggies... either storebought or homemade with minimal ingredients. Thanks!

i prepare my veggies like this all the time, it is soooo yummy and did i mention it's also so good for you?!

Ok i start with coating the bottom of a frying pan with olive oil (2 tbsp about), add a clove of garlic (minced finely), a couple slices of yellow onion, and about a tablespoon of Earth Balance Butter. This is my "sauce". I let these all come together over medium heat and then add my veggies. Usually i sautee broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, yellow squash, and spinach. You can add a pinch of salt and pepper if you'd like. SO delicious :) let cook for 10-15 until veggies are soft, or how you like them. GOOOD luck :)

I sautee cooking greens (Kale and or collard greens) with a really similiar recipe. Saute them in oil (coat pan with about 1-2 tbls) with galic and onions(not much just for flavor), then put a splash of veggie broth or bouillion with tbls water then squeeze some lemon juice on top. Its so good.
