Hi! Next Sunday I'm starting a 30-day Raw Food Detox (based on the documentary Simply Raw), and I need some simple recipes for my first week! I have a couple smoothie recipies for breakfast, I bought some great vegan salad dressings for my lunch time salad, and I've got nuts and snacks covered...what I need the most help with is Dinner! What can I have, that's strictly raw that's not a smoothie or salad...but is simple. I need a few recipes that won't overwhelm me or have a hundred ingredients.

make sure you get enough carbs and protein! if your eating all raw, it could be easy too eat too many nuts and fruit and that and not enough of the other food groups..
ive been wondering about raw food for a while, what do you guys all think about the raw thing? im liking macro atm but am considering including more raw food in my diet

Thank you Veganali and Melody, but that's my problem...too many choices. I need some examples of a sample day by someone who kept it simple and was able to maintain simplicity for a while.

Make a spread out of pine nuts, shoya, grated ginger, a little bit of garlic and a splash of fresh lime juice (whirred in the blender). Toss it with corn cut off the cob and julienned zucchini. Yumbo!
Or, for appetizers, put a spoonful in the hollow part of a bok choy leaf, top with half a green grape. Gorgeous and yummy.

Ahh, I just read your post asking how to keep it simple. Easy peasy! A fabulous fruit smoothie for breakfast --- papaya, mango, banana and orange juice with hemp hearts thrown in for protein. Salad for lunch -- with nuts and grapes and blueberries and a lemon vinagrette. An apple spread with peanut butter for a snack. A green juice late in the afternoon --- spinach or kale, celery, cucumber, an apple, a slice of ginger, a whole lemon, a head of romaine. For supper, a glorious bowl of romaine, tomatoes, avocado, pine nuts and more of that lemon vinagrette dressing. It's only difficult if you decide it is. This is real food done right. People ate this way for millions of years -- only they didn't have the astonishing variety available to them that we do. Life is sweeeeeeeet!
