summer vacation!

I am flying to the East coast this summer for a week vacation. I am going with my husbands family and some friends. My mother-in-law is flying out early to do some grocery shopping. She supports my vegan lifestyle and will buy me whatever I want I'm sure. Here's the thing, I am sure there is no Whole Foods there so we're dealing with a "regular" grocery store. What few staple items should I have her pick up for me; and what would be easy to pack to bring with me (I'm flying). I was also going to try and find out if they have a farmers market available at the begining of the week there. Thanks!
What part of the east coast? I live in the boonies, but there are 2 organic grocery stores within half an hour of meand even my local grocery store has an organic section, so it may not be that hard to find what you need.
We are going to Bethany Beach, Delaware. I have some idea's rolling in my head. I am going to bring Larabar's (for the desperate times) for sure but don't know what else. I will ask my mother in law to get me some quinoa (they do have that at regular grocer's?). Hopefully the fruits and veggies she gets will hold me over. There is another person on the trip who is vegan but I don't know her (am looking forward to getting to though).
Bethany Beach is between Ocean City MD and Rehoboth Beach DE. Both have groceries stores and I'm pretty sure there are several health food stores in Rehoboth. Check Happy Cow. net, but I don't think you'll have a problem.
Thanks, I'll be sure to do that.
