Made the Thanksgiving Tofu with a Mushroom Gravy and homemade
Cranberry Sauce. Did some Roasted Sweet Potatoes with some
Braised BokChocy with the Ume Vinaigrette. Have to say I like the
dish but my family did not. I really worked hard on it and hoped they
would. I noticed the tofu got alittle too brown on the botton but it really
wasn't that big of a deal. I am trying all kinds of dishes on a daily
basis. I just can't seem to get my family to UH Ahh like I do. I guess I
was ready and they weren't. I have always been one of those people
who cook everyday for my family spending at least an hour or more
to get a good meal on the table. I love food, love to spend lots of time
in the kitchen preparing good food. Now that I've given up dairy which
also incudes meat and everything. I seem to be losing my families
interest. I have ordered every vegan an macrobiotic cookbook on
the market and am trying everything. Some success but they all
really miss meat and cheese. Don't know what to do????
