I went on a mission to discover the "good" miso to start adding to my mornings as suggested in TKD. I found at least 5 different brands at Whole Foods Market, but none said anything about live enzymes. Any particular brands that I should look for? I bought, white and red in a dry packet, the paper container already mixed that you just heat and serve (Whole Foods brand) and Edward and Sons (3 ind sevings, dry packets). Are any of these good or am I looking in the wrong place?help!

These sound like miso soups. You want plain miso - it is like a thick paste.
Hereare examples.

At my local Whole Foods they have The Genmai brand in the Asian section and the Westbrae Natural brand in the cold section near the vegenaise.

I was going to say the same thing as veganali . . . In my whole foods, it's in the refrigerated section next to a lot of the other vegan foods, but it probably varies by store. If all else fails, just ask someone who works there.
Here's the brand I use:http://www.great-eastern-sun.com/index.php/miso.html
