I have been doing a lot of research on the differences between a Macrobiotic diet and a Raw foods diet. It seems like they both contradict each other and am still confused as to which might be a healthier way of eating. They both boast very beneficial health benefits. I know Alicia says in her book that she tried Raw for a while but then switched to mostly Macro. Does anyone, Alicia included, have any comments on which way of eating made them feel better, and why? Thank you in advance for your advise! :o)

I can only share that I did try raw only at one time and it was a little too rough on my stomach. My digestion was great, but my stomach went bananas.

Have a good week :D

As a vegan, I find Macrobiotics to be a much more sustainable diet long term. the important thing is: balanced meals, not extreme foods, chew well, eat slowly, be happy.
