For information on becoming a superhero, flip to page 97 in The Kind Diet. It describes what it means to be a superhero, a list of foods that are part of "your superhero pantry", some information about the transition, and a sample weeks meal plan. Superhero recipes start on page 214.
Superhero is basically macrobiotics. I am exploring this eatingsystem also, On my search I found two great books I'd like to share. If you want to know more about this read: Modern day Macrobiotics by Simon Brown. This book gives great understandable info, is down to earth, very practical, a good read. Also it gives mealplans and menus for detox, regeneration.
Also a great book is Changing seasons by Aveline Kushi, this book is writen with a 7 day foodplan for each season, so it gives great insight on what superhero's eat plus the recipes. There is also a great introduction.
For starting and newbies - like meself - I found these two, the best for starting. Especially because they are practical they got me cooking right away!
For more indept I suggest Macrobiotic cooking by Aveline Kushi / and more generally: The macrobiotic way by M. Kushi
