Good morning everyone! When I first read The Kind Diet about 3-4 weeks ago, my life completely changed. I started to think about what I put into my body and how certain foods made me feel. I revamped my kitchen and dove straight into a vegan lifestyle. I was completely pumped to change my life (particularly because I found out my cholesterol level was 200 and I'm only 28). A couple weeks later, I found myself CRAVING dairy products...especially cheese and butter. Needless to say, I succumbed to the cravings. I felt incredibly sick, but my brain told me it was okay. I then picked up the book The China Study and began to watch videos of T. Colin Campbell and Neal Barnard. I was hoping to regain my momentum again. Well....can I tell you my momentum came back 3-fold. What I learned from those men should convince anyone to go vegan. Unfortunately, it doesn't. I woke up today with rejuvenated purpose. I understand that it's a journey, and a slip up here and there is bound to happen, but I am completely sold on the benefits of becoming a vegan. The benefits are something that no one should take advantage of. I am starting from square one again and that's okay!

PS- Neal Barnard says it takes 3 full weeks of being vegan to stop dairy cravings....especially cheese...for those who are struggling with that....be strong!!!
