Flirting for 2 months...results!

I STARTED flirting two months ago. I had not eaten red meat for years, and was already using whole wheat flour and kind sugars for baking. Yoga I've done once a week for 6 mths now. Half way into two months I went back home for a week and fell of the wagon a bit: white sugar, a bit of milk products, and some foods had definitely egg in them + ate fish three times.

Here are my results, to which I think flirting with KD had affect on. (I did do all four flirting actions from the KD, p. 82-87 as well.)

PHYCICALLY: Right from the beginning I noticed I need a bit less sleep. I get pimples sometimes, but I feel like they heal quicker than before. The biggest effect was, that I'm no longer bloated in the evenings. This was a "normal" thing pre-kind diet: my belly being like a balloon almost every evening.

WHAT I HOPED WOULD HAVE HAPPENED (this is what I've heard has happened to some when they've cut out dairy) is to those dark circles around the eyes to disappear. Maybe mine will never "lighten up", or maybe that requires a superhero eating style.

IT WAS INTERESTING to notice when not eating dairy at all, and then having a bit, that it actually felt yucky to have a "dairy coating" in my mouth.

NOT HEALTH RELATED, but I've noticed something else as well. I've been an animal-lover like always, but since KD whenever I hear or read about how people have been moved/changed by being in contact with animals and by behaviour of them, or what good a single person or an organisation has done to animals, I burst into (happy) tears. I'm even more sensitive to this kind of things now. I FEEL more.

Someone here at Kind Life already wrote about this, but I've come to notice (more and more) how BEAUTIFUL food is! And on the other side how plastic processed food is. I love grocery shopping!

Of to the vegan-plan I go!

I love all the results you have been seeing! I have to agree 100% with the last one, I have started to LOVE food too! Instead of going to the grocery store as a chore, it's actually fun! I love going through the veggie aisles and finding something new and appreciating the scents. It really is beautiful.

I am definitely obsessed with food now too. Truthfully, I always have been. But before KD, it was all sugar fix, all the time. I would eat stuff that I ddin't even like, just to feed the sugar demon. Now I am getting really adventurous and creative. I literally CRAVE vegetables. I am learning so much, and it's SO much fun!

Good for you! I've been vegan since February, but am just now getting into more cooking, less processed foods and I too, am super excited to shop and cook. Made my meal plan for the week and had too many options to choose from!
