Hello, I am new to all of this and I want to make sure I am doing it right. I don't want to get sick and have to stop. I am starting off vegetarian and will slowly move into veganism. What are important foods I should incorporate into my diet to replace the ones I am not eating. Thanks!

Hi Eve,
Is there any way you can get a hold of a copy of the book? It has many explanations and recipes that we could never fit in here.

Basically, you want to make sure that you build your meals properly. Make sure you have a veggie, a protein, and whole grains in your meals. There are lots of resources on the web if you don't have the book yet.

If you haven't read the book, you need to, but make sure you are eating whole grains (brown rice, quinoa, oatmeal..) lots of veggies including ones you may not be used to like kale, collards, cabbages, cauliflower b/c these have a lot of vitamins you need, and fruits, and having beans, tofu or seitan everyday and you should be fine. Nutritional yeast flakes are a godsend to make things cheesy and they're a good source of b12. Good luck
